Shampoo & Conditioner

For hair that needs moisture R+Co television shampoo/conditioner is amazinG!

For hair that can easily be weighed down I love the boosta line from Unite

Got Dandruff? Try Oribe. I would even do the scalp scrub every 2 weeks to exfoliate

Leave in Conditioner

Unite 7 seconds is hands down my most sold product at the salon. It has a heat protectant and a UV protectant that will help protect your color while it moisturizes. Even better this leave in doesn’t weigh down your hair

Deep Conditioner/Masque

The Schwarzkopf Blonde Me Keratin Restore masque is a game changer. I use this on all my color clients in the salon and on myself at home

Dry Ends

There are two types of products that pack in the moisture and save those ends. Creams and oils. If your hair is super dry and coarse I would cocktail the two together. If you have fine to medium hair I would just choose one

R+Co high dive moisture cream

Unite U-oil

Volume

I get asked about volume more than moisture for sure! How can we get lift at the root that lasts.

I have a few recommendations and I would layer differently depending on hair type and event.

My daily hair routine is different than the going out last all night routine

I always use Unite Boosta. I love this for everyday. I spray it on my roots in large sections and my hairline. This is also a favorite for fine hair.

Need to up your game big time? Try Unite’s root energizer. This is a root boost foam. I find it to work best on medium to thick hair.

For an all over foam use Unite Elevate Mousse. I use a golf ball size depending on hair amount and scrunch into the root through the mid shaft area. You are going to get a stronger hold by adding the mousse.

In the salon I mainly cocktail the boosta and elevate mousse for a beautiful full style with hold.

Hairspray

R+Co outer space hairspray is lightweight but holds great.

For an extra strong hold use Unite session max. It’s STRONG, I use this for updos, top knots and high ponytails.

CURLY HAIR

Curls love moisture. The moisture helps with frizz and define the curl. I would start with 7 seconds leave in then cocktail Unite U-oil with their boing curl cream

Milbon de frizzing shampoo and treatment is a great option for curly hair. It moisturizes without weighing down your curl

Smooth Hair

If you have fine and frizzy hair I think moisture products like 7 seconds and a little u-oil on the ends is enough to smooth it out.

For medium to coarse hair and wavy/curly you want to bring in the big guns. Unite Lazer Straight is a great product for a smooth blow out

Texture

Messy texture and piecey dimension is in! There are so many texture products out there. I have a few recommendations based on type of hair and desired finish

Oribe dry texture spray

The name is fitting because I find this to be the driest texture spray out there. I love this spray but I think it’s a little drying for everyday to be honest. I mainly use this for going out because I love the finished look. If you have finer hair this would be great to spray on the root area.

Unite Texturiza

I love this spray because it’s literally the Goldilocks of texture sprays. Not too dry, not too wet. I spray this all over for the perfect beach waves or on straight hair for a little separation.

R+Co Trophy shine texture spray

This one is great because it has some shine. I don’t recommend this for finer hair though because the shine factor can weigh down the hair a bit. Trophy works well on short haircuts to add texture and shine or loose waves

R+Co dry shampoo paste

This is the product you didn’t know you needed! I absolutely love this product for lift at the roots and texture. A little goes a long way. Even better is it absorbs oil at the root extending your blowout. The key is to rub it in your fingers completely before rubbing into your root area
